The bistro offers a good selection of menu options. The service is fast, friendly, and attentive. The lamb shank delivers on the melt-in-you-mouth billing. It’s marinated overnight, and slow cooked. That wait for it was not long given the time put into the preparation. The salmon was also delish and cooked a juicy medium, as good salmon should. Both mains were plated nicely with ample sides. Plenty of parking in the vicinity.

Took a chance here because the mixed reviews weren't telling a convincing story, and I'm so glad we did. The staff were so kind and attentive. We had the crab and salmon benedicts, which were perfectly prepared, and the waffle (at the waitress's recommendation, instead of the french toast) which had its own separate topping bar we could use to prepare as we liked. We got a bowlful of their (homemade!) whipped cream, which was divine, and some very fresh berries. Paired with the cup of maple syrup, it was the best waffle we could remember eating. We overheard some other patrons talking about this place being recently rebranded from an Indian restaurant, so that must be why it was pretty empty on a Saturday at 11. Until folks realize how good this place is, it's going to be my favorite secret brunch spot, and I plan to visit every weekend.

I enjoyed breakfast for the first time at this at this restaurant. The sausage links and eggs were cooked to perfection. The potatoes were amazing and embellished with delicious grilled veggies. They offered many choices for toast including rye bread. The fresh food and friendly service is consistent and appreciated. Nice atmosphere inside as well as the outside patio. I highly recommend this fine family owned Bistro.

We came here for a quick lunch today the menu looked so great! We got the veggie garden and the grilled chicken burgers. Both were excellent and the toppings were super fresh. My husband said the chicken was grilled perfectly and was very flavorful. The staff was, as always, very attentive and pleasant. Can't wait to come back for breakfast/brunch and try to the waffles and eggs!

Second visit to highland bistro and tried their eggs bendict, hands down it was the best benedict I ever had, sauce was velvety and very flavourful. Will be back with the family. Went there for lunch and fish & chips. Fish was great and very well seasoned. Glad I found this place, surely will go there again.

I arrived around 10am on a rainy Saturday morning. When I walked in I was greeted by a wonderful hostess who asked me where I would like to sit; there wasn’t many people in yet. I got the biscuits and gravy, it came with 2 eggs, and potatoes with peppers and onions. The eggs were cooked the way I selected, and they were perfect. The potatoes with peppers and onions were fried to perfection, they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The biscuits and gravy were great, the biscuits were soft, the gravy was smooth and creamy. It had a very nice texture to it. I will say, the green onion garnish was a little strong. But that did not take away from the dish itself self. The whole plate was seasoned perfectly, I didn’t need to add any salt or pepper. The staff checked in on me multiple times asking if everything was okay, and to see if I needed anything else. The drinks were made quickly, and are very refreshing. I had a Berry Deuce which was very good. The hints of citrus, blackberry, mint and lemonade mixed well and was portioned correctly. The drink looked really elegant as well. At another table they got waffles, with which you can go to a fruit bar to top them with their handmade whip cream, and different berries. (Strawberries, blueberries and bananas). This restaurant is a hidden gem in Issaquah, I would come every weekend if I lived closer. I would highly recommend coming and trying this restaurant for your self. Located in the corner of and Park Dr and 10th ave Ne, there is a decent amount of parking in the area.
